Local Catering Sales Manager – Fast Casual

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Local Catering Sales Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for increasing catering sales by nurturing existing business and securing new clients through proactive lead generation, community outreach, and strategic marketing—while consistently delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute outbound sales strategies to achieve catering sales targets across assigned regions.
  • Proactively solicit new catering clients through a mix of traditional sales techniques (cold calling, in-person visits) and innovative approaches (community events, networking).
  • Drive revenue growth by developing new accounts and building repeat business with a focus on service excellence.
  • Conduct all phases of sales activity, including prospecting, client needs analysis, sales presentations, customer onboarding, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Deliver regular updates on sales metrics, forecasts, and pipeline activity to leadership.
  • Cultivate and manage business relationships to meet strategic growth goals.
  • Partner with General Managers to ensure seamless in-store execution of catering orders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to guarantee customer satisfaction and operational alignment.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships to ensure continued business and referrals.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Work closely with the Catering Director to align with key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to both short-term and long-term strategic planning.
  • Assist with all aspects of catering execution as needed, including order setup, delivery coordination, restaurant team training, and community engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in catering sales or a related hospitality sales role.
  • Proven track record in business development and relationship management.
  • Professional demeanor with a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Familiarity with market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Experience in restaurant, fine dining, catering services, or hospitality industries.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of food safety standards and culinary basics.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to be hands-on and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
