We are a fast-growing, mission-driven fast-casual restaurant brand delivering crave-worthy, wholesome food in a vibrant, high-energy environment. With a commitment to hospitality, team development, and operational excellence, we’re on a path of rapid growth—and we’re looking for a talented Controller to lead our financial strategy and operations.

Position Summary:

As Controller, you will oversee and optimize the full scope of our accounting function—including AR, AP, payroll, tax compliance, and inventory reconciliation. You will report directly to the CFO/Head of Finance and act as a strategic thought partner, building scalable systems and processes to support our growth. This is a hands-on role for a proactive, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, sales/use tax, and payroll
  • Own and manage all aspects of month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and analysis
  • Oversee restaurant-level inventory accounting and collaborate with operations/supply chain to improve accuracy and cost controls
  • Design, evaluate, and improve internal financial controls, systems, and processes to support a scaling business
  • Produce timely, accurate financial statements and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with leadership
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to inform decision-making across departments
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant tax or regulatory requirements
  • Manage and mentor a small but growing accounting team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in multi-unit restaurant, retail, or CPG environments
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and experience managing full-cycle accounting
  • Experience with inventory accounting and cost control preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, implement systems, and drive process improvement
  • Highly organized with excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Restaurant365, or similar) and Excel
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, high-growth environment with shifting priorities

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and bonus potential
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Opportunity to join a rapidly scaling brand with strong leadership and growth trajectory
  • A values-driven culture centered on integrity, hospitality, and excellence
  • A seat at the table in shaping the future of our finance organization
