Leadership & Team Development

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a General Manager/Managing Partner in a high-volume restaurant
  • Currently working in a GM or equivalent leadership role (no long employment gaps)
  • Strong leadership skills with a coach-first mindset—develops and elevates team members
  • Prioritizes training, mentoring, and succession planning for internal growth
  • Can handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts professionally

Operations & Financial Acumen

  • Proven experience in P&L management, labor cost control, and financial decision-making
  • Ability to control food and labor costs while maintaining quality and efficiency

Guest Experience & Service Standards

  • Passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience and creating loyal customers
  • Serve Safe Certified
  • Instills a culture of cleanliness, efficiency, and attention to detail

Sales, Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Understands how to drive sales through effective upselling and promotions
  • Engages with the community—building relationships and local partnerships
  • Ties into the local business network to increase brand presence

Culture & Team Development

  • Invested in staff retention and long-term growth
  • Holds team members accountable while helping them reach their potential

Geographic & Community Requirement- will relocate!

  • Must live in Morehead City or at least Carteret County for accessibility and engagement
  • Established ties to the local community—knows the area, has a network, and understands local culture
  • Active in community events, organizations, or local business groups

Physical & Hands-On Leadership

  • Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including:
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs when needed
  • Working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Assisting in kitchen, bar, or service areas as necessary
  • Leads from the front lines—willing to step in where needed to support the team
