Position Summary:

As the Kitchen Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily back-of-house operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met. You’ll lead, train,

and develop kitchen staff while maintaining a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation and production
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health standards
• Lead and motivate a team of cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers to ensure timely and consistent meal execution
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food cost to meet budgetary guidelines
• Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating kitchen team members
• Monitor equipment maintenance and cleanliness of all kitchen areas
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house management to ensure guest satisfaction
• Ensure consistent compliance with company recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
• Contribute to menu planning, specials, and innovation of offerings

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of kitchen or back-of-house management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Solid understanding of inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Food Manager Certification preferred
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
