We’re looking for a Bakery Department Manager to lead a high-volume, quality-driven bakery known for exceptional presentation and consistency. This is an opportunity to own your department, develop your team, and make a direct impact on sales, guest experience, and daily operations.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily production, baking, finishing, packaging, and merchandising
- Ensure freshness, proper labeling, and date rotation
- Execute opening/closing procedures and maintain a clean, organized department
- Align production with sales forecasts, holidays, and special events
- Maintain high standards for product consistency and presentation
- Partner cross-functionally to support in-store promotions
- Monitor inventory levels and place vendor orders
- Conduct regular inventory counts and track department performance
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Hire, train, schedule, and coach bakery team members
- Set clear production goals and hold the team accountable
- Foster a positive, high-performing culture
What You Bring
- 1+ year of supervisory or management experience
- Strong operational, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
