Grocery Manager

We are seeking an experienced Grocery Manager to lead the daily performance of grocery and refrigerated departments within a high-volume retail environment.

This leader will drive sales, protect margins, and ensure a safe, well-merchandised, and customer-focused operation.

Reporting to senior store leadership, this role oversees scheduling, team development, merchandising execution, inventory control, and vendor relationships.

Compensation: $24.00–$26.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

Lead & Develop Your Team

• Recruit, train, and mentor department staff
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage development plans
• Promote a positive, collaborative work environment that drives engagement and results

Drive Sales & Operational Excellence

• Plan and execute merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability
• Maintain standards for product placement, rotation, and presentation
• Monitor inventory, deliveries, and shrink while ensuring accurate record-keeping
• Collaborate on promotions and marketing initiatives to attract and educate customers

Customer Experience & Vendor Relations

• Ensure an exceptional shopping experience for customers
• Address feedback proactively to maintain satisfaction
• Build strong relationships with vendors and internal partners
• Stay current on industry trends and competitive activity

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
