Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the daily operations of our upscale restaurant. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service, team leadership, guest experience, and financial performance. The ideal candidate is a polished, service-driven leader with a passion for hospitality, fine dining, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and excellence.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and ensure daily communication flows smoothly between departments.

Guest Experience:

  • Ensure the highest levels of service and hospitality are consistently delivered.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a presence on the floor during peak hours, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

Operations & Compliance:

  • Oversee daily operations including service flow, reservations, and special events.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and all relevant licensing laws.
  • Manage vendor relationships and inventory to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, labor costs, and P&L statements.
  • Implement strategies to drive revenue and control costs without compromising quality.
  • Monitor financial KPIs and prepare regular reports for ownership.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, upscale or fine dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in POS and restaurant management software.
  • Flexible schedule with availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
