A fast casual catering company is seeking a confident and experienced food operations professional with the expertise to thrive within a leading catering company and the ambition to advance their career. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of kitchen management, including systems, menu procedures, inventory, labor, and food cost control. We are looking for a dynamic leader who can positively influence both customer satisfaction and team morale.

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) role is a developmental opportunity aimed at preparing the individual to transition into a General Manager position at one of our Catering Kitchens.

Key skills for success include leading by example, effective planning and execution, team direction, and a willingness to grow. A strong grasp of technology and the ability to build relationships with clients and collaborate with the sales team is essential for this role.

AGMs work a Monday through Friday schedule, with evenings and weekends typically free. Shifts generally start between 4-5am, depending on business levels, and conclude by 2-3pm, resulting in an average workweek of 50-55 hours.

The AGM position is based in the Los Angeles area, but travel to both Los Angeles and Orange County locations is required. Mileage is reimbursed for any extra travel. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, a clean driving record, and their own vehicle.

The target salary for this role is $75,000 per year, along with the following benefits:

  • Paid vacation (1 week after 6 months, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years)
  • Paid holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s)
  • Health insurance after 90 days (dental and vision available)
  • 401k savings plan with company match (after 1 year of employment)
  • Driver’s License, personal vehicle, and valid auto insurance required

Background checks, including driving history (DUI/DWI, 2 or more moving violations within the past 2 years), criminal history, and credit history, will be conducted.
