Assistant General Manager Position with Polished Casual Growing Brand-

This role involves overseeing employee selection, development, and performance management, managing inventory and supply orders, optimizing profits, and consistently delivering an exceptional dining experience. The AGM reports directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, humble hospitality and provide an outstanding guest experience with every visit
• Oversee all restaurant areas, making key decisions to enhance the guest experience
• Lead shifts with responsibilities including daily decision-making, scheduling, planning, and maintaining high standards for product quality, cleanliness, and service
• Manage multiple tasks under pressure, providing effective solutions for any challenges that arise
• Adhere to company standards for service and operations, working to maximize sales while controlling costs (food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor)
• Uphold restaurant image, ensuring cleanliness, proper attire, and consistent atmosphere
• Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit, contributing ideas and perspectives that enhance operations and guest experiences
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills by teaching, coaching, and developing a team, understanding that team success equals personal success
• Interview and manage hourly employees, including hiring, supervision, development, and, when necessary, termination
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas, addressing complaints and turning any dissatisfaction into positive experiences
• Share a passion for quality food and beverages, enhancing the overall dining experience
