We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Controller to lead our Finance and Accounting Teams. This leadership role is central to the integrity of our financial reporting, the oversight of operational performance metrics, 

and the alignment of our financial strategy with our company vision.

As Controller, you will manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and risk operations—ensuring we take care out teams in the field and live by our values.

What You’ll Do

Financial Leadership & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including P&Ls for restaurants and G&A departments
  • Oversee balance sheets, cash flow statements, and operational reporting
  • Monitor and improve financial controls, including tax, benefits, and banking compliance

Budget & Audit Oversight

  • Lead annual and quarterly budgeting processes
  • Support department heads with financial analysis and planning
  • Coordinate all phases of the annual financial audit

Risk & Compliance

  • Manage risk programs including workers comp/general liability
  • Ensure compliance with payroll, lease, and tax regulations
  • Lead initiatives to prevent fraud and maintain regulatory standards

Department Oversight

  • Provide leadership to teams across payroll, treasury, risk, accounting, and AP
  • Foster a collaborative and productive culture within the Restaurant Support Center and field operations

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Full-cycle accounting and financial statement preparation experience
  • Proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced)
  • Knowledge of lease accounting, payroll compliance, and tax planning
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central (or similar ERP) is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style
